The Gosforth Long Dining Table is a modern, solid wood dining table that's perfect for homes with a contemporary and minimal style.
At 180cm long, this handcrafted wooden dining table has sleek lines, and beautiful curved legs and corners. It'll comfortably seat six people, three either side of the dining table. Or for those larger gatherings, you could fit an extra friend or family member at either end.
Made to order in our workshop from sustainably sourced wood, the Gosforth Long Dining Table has a sophisticated style.
Pair it with our Gosforth Dining Benches and Gosforth Dining Stools, all of which slide neatly underneath the table when it's not in use, to free up floor space in your home.
The Gosforth Long Dining Table is also available as a set, with two benches included. Or, for a smaller alternative, the table is available as a two seater square.
Like all our made-to-order furniture the Gosforth Long Dining Table is handcrafted in our workshop. It's hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a contemporary surface which still has plenty of natural wood features and characteristics.
The Gosforth collection is named after an area of Newcastle - a leafy suburb which is popular with young professionals, and has a vibrant cafe culture, with artisan-style delis and friendly restaurants and bars.

The Gosforth Long Dining Table differs from much of our other dining room furniture, with a sleeker, more modern finish.
It's part of the Gosforth collection a range of modern solid wood furniture. Each piece is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a sleeker, contemporary finish to the solid wood, while still leaving plenty of natural wood features.
Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
4 Fine Wax Finish Colours
To finish these long wooden dining tables we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are:

- Teak
- Smoke Pine
- Medium Oak
When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. You can order your samples here.

Some Assembly Needed
The Gosforth Long Dining Table will require some assembly, with its legs requiring attaching prior to use. Your furniture will come with detailed instructions and everything you need to do this.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance with Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are a great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time.

Turnaround & Delivery
As these solid wood dining tables are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that our current lead times are 6-8 weeks. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date so please ensure to leave a contact number with your order.
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home.
