Like all our handmade furniture, The Lambton Blanket Box is made from sustainably sourced timbers. It has a simple, rustic design and is sanded to a smooth finish. This makes it sleeker with crisper edges than some of our more rustic furniture.
The Lambton Collection has been designed to complement our other bedroom furniture, with a style that means it can be added, mix and match, to a number of other pieces from our bedroom furniture range to create a bedroom that's perfect for your home.
For example, add the Lambton Blanket Box to the end of a Sandyford bed, or use alongside pieces from our Gosforth bedroom range, or others.
The Lambton furniture collection is named after, and takes inspiration from, a beautiful part of County Durham's countryside, with miles of footpaths through a natural landscape of ancient woodland and open parkland.

Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.

To finish this solid wood Lambton blanket box we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are:

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

No Assembly Needed
These Lambton Blanket Boxes are fully assembled in our workshop, and sent straight to your door so all you need to do is unpack the blanket box and it is ready to use.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance with Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are a great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time.

As this Lambton Blanket Box is handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that our current lead times are 6-8 weeks. With the Christmas break, these lead times may be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date so please ensure to leave a contact number with your order.
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
