The Sandhaven Bed Frame is a low level bed with a slatted headboard and a subtle angular design.
It's a solid wood bed with a contemporary design. Perfect if your style is simple and sophisticated, and you're looking for a low level bed that'll work well in your modern-style bedroom.

The Sandhaven Bed Frame is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a contemporary, smoother surface while still leaving plenty of natural wood characteristics and features.

The Sandhaven furniture range is inspired by our local beach, just down the road from our workshop, in South Shields. Its impressive sand dunes create a beautiful backdrop, with their sandy slopes leading down to the long stretch of the beach's smooth golden sand.
Like all our furniture and shelves, The Sandhaven Bed Frame is handcrafted and made-to-order in our workshop in the North East of England.

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Our bed has been designed with simplicity in mind. With pre-fitted components and an intuitive design, assembly takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish. With our specialised fixing brackets, the build is very quick and super easy - no complicated tools or fiddly parts required.

Quick & Easy Assembly
Assembling the Sandhaven Bed Frame takes no time at all and is a very simple process. Your bed will come with easy-to-follow instructions to show you how to put it together.
Your bed will come in these parts - headboard, footboard, side rails (x2), and bed slats. Plus all the fixings you need to complete the job.
Due to the weight of solid wood furniture we would recommend two people are present for assembly.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance With Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing any damage. Order your wax care pack here.

Delivery And Returns
Turnaround & Delivery
As these solid wood beds are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Our current lead times are 3-4 working weeks.
Please note that the lead time provided is an approximate guide, and your furniture may be completed slightly earlier or later than this date. If this would cause any issues, please let us know.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
Once the order is complete, you will receive a dispatch email. Delivery will be made by our partner APC and will arrive on the 2nd working day following dispatch. On the morning of delivery, you’ll also get an email/ SMS with a 2-hour time slot.
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery, so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk.
