Our Sandhaven Bedside tables have been designed with a low profile, while still providing plenty of essential storage. They have a sleek finish and angular compact design.
They work perfectly with our low level beds, especially the Sandhaven, but also the Pandon or Stepney.
The Sandhaven Bedside Table is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a contemporary, smoother surface while still leaving plenty of natural wood characteristics and features.
Low level bedroom furniture is ideal if you're looking to create a chic, modern style in your room. It also works particularly well in bedrooms with restricted ceiling height, such as loft conversions or older properties. Smaller bedrooms can also benefit from lower bedroom furniture, where it helps create the illusion of space in the room, making it feel bigger than it actually is.
The Sandhaven furniture range is inspired by our local beach, just down the road from our workshop, in South Shields. Its impressive sand dunes create a beautiful backdrop, with their sandy slopes leading down to the long stretch of the beach's smooth golden sand.

The Sandhaven Bedside Table differs from much of our other bedroom furniture, with a sleeker, more modern finish.
It's part of the Sandhaven collection of bedroom furniture. Each piece is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a sleeker, contemporary finish to the solid wood, while still leaving plenty of natural wood features.
Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
Five Fine Wax Finishes
Our Sandhaven Bedside Table is finished with a supreme wax polish. It's professionally applied, by hand. We choose to work with wax as it enhances the look of the grains and features in the wood, bringing it to life.
The choice of colours are:

- Rustic Pine
When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

No Assembly Required
The Sandhaven Bedside Table will be delivered to you fully assembled. All you have to do is unpack it and decide where to place it.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance With Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing any damage. Order your wax care pack here.

As these solid wood bedside tables are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that our current lead times are 6-8 weeks. With the Christmas break, these lead times may be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date so please ensure to leave a contact number with your order.
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
