Our Wansbeck side table is handcrafted from solid wood and is a beautifully simple yet rustic addition to your living space. This small wooden occasional table is the perfect size to use as a lamp table, or a handy spot to place a refreshing drink as you relax in the evening. You can choose to have the Wansbeck Square Side Table either with or without a lower shelf, as well as your choice of wax finish colours.
This solid wood side table is part of our Wansbeck Collection of rustic solid wood furniture for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. The pared back design of this rustic furniture collection showcases the natural features of the wood. Funky Chunky Furniture’s shelves, mantels and furniture are made from sustainably sourced wood. Our wood comes from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of sustainability. Forests that are so well-managed that they help to fight deforestation and protect wildlife habitats for the species that call them home.
Solid Rustic Timber
To make these solid wood square side tables we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each rustic side table is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.
In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with sanding marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our furniture apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood every side table will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind.

- Placing your item near to a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
- All sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another.
Five Fine Wax Finishes
To finish our wooden square side tables we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are:

- Rustic Pine
When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

No Assembly Required
These Wansbeck square side tables arrive at your home fully assembled.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance with Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are a great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing damage. Order your wax care pack here.

As these Wansbeck Square Side Tables are handmade and made-to-order we do require some time for manufacturing. This will normally take 1 week. They will then be dispatched and will usually be delivered within 1-2 working days to UK mainland. (More remote UK areas and Northern Ireland could see an extra 1-2 days for delivery). It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
