This small rectangular chopping board has a beautiful chevron pattern, created from the natural patterns and textures of the mango wood.
Handmade in India from pieces of sustainably sourced mango wood, these striking wooden chopping boards can be put to work in your kitchen, or used as a sharing platter laden with antipasti and artisan breads.
The mango wood comes from mango farms, where the trees are cut down at the end of their fruit bearing lives. Rather than going to waste, the farmers sell the wood, giving them another income as well has enabling them to plant more trees.
- Material: Sustainable Mango Wood
- Dimensions: Height: 2cm, Width: 38cm, Depth: 15cm
- Care: Food safe. Do not put in the dishwasher, oven or microwave. Wash in warm soapy water after every use to prevent staining, rinse and dry immediately. Do not soak. To nourish the wood rub an edible oil, such as olive oil, into the surface with a cloth. Adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.
