We've deliberately designed the Sandyford bedside tables so that they don't take up too much space in your bedroom. There's plenty of space on the tabletop as well as within the handy drawer, your bedroom will feel spacious and light and airy, or, to be able to fit a bigger size bed!

The Sandyford Bedside Table differs from much of our other bedroom furniture, with a sleeker, more modern finish.
It's part of the Sandyford collection of bedroom furniture. Each piece is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a sleeker, contemporary finish to the solid wood, while still leaving plenty of natural wood features.
The Sandyford Bedside Table With Drawer is available in a choice of five wax finishes.
Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
Three Fine Wax Finishes
Our Sandyford bedside table with drawer is finished with a supreme wax polish. It's professionally applied, by hand. We choose to work with wax as it enhances the look of the grains and features in the wood, bringing it to life.
The choice of colours are:

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. You can order your samples here.

No Assembly Required
These bedside tables come fully assembled, ready to be placed next to your bed.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance With Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing damage. Order your wax care pack here.
Please ensure you select the same colour as the wax finish you are ordering your furniture in!
Turnaround & Delivery
As these solid wood bedside tables are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. This will normally take 4-6 working weeks. Please note that the lead time provided is an approximate guide, and your furniture may be completed slightly earlier or later than this date. If this would cause any issues, please let us know.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
Once the order is complete, you will receive a dispatch email. Delivery will be made by our partner Logistics North East and will arrive on the 2nd working day following dispatch. On the morning of delivery, you’ll also get an email/ SMS with a 2-hour time slot. (Please allow an additional 2-5 working days for deliveries to Highlands and Islands).
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery, so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk.
It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
