Solid Rustic Timber

To make these hairpin coffee tables with storage we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each table is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.

In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our rustic coffee tables apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood every table will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Solid timber. Please note that further movement may occur within the timber, particularly if the item is placed near to a heat source, which may exaggerate these natural features.

With five colours of hairpin legs to choose from you can create a really iconic coffee table for your living room. Choose to match your existing colour palette, or go for a bright accent colour, or very fashionable copper. The colour options are:

3 Fine Wax Finish Colours

To finish these chunky wood coffee tables we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features it enhances their look and brings them to life. The colours are:

• Walnut
• Smoke Pine
• Medium Oak

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Raw Steel Hairpin Legs & Easy Assembly

These wooden hairpin coffee tables come supplied with your choice of coloured hairpin legs. They aren't attached to the table on delivery and will require some assembly. But do not worry! The assembly is very quick and easy. Place the table top bottom side up. Position the legs in place. Secure the legs to the table with the fixings provided. Flip the table upright onto its legs and position where you like.

We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are a great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time.

Turnaround & Delivery

As these solid wood coffee tables are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that the lead time provided is an approximate guide, and your furniture may be completed slightly earlier or later than this date. If this would cause any issues, please let us know.

Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.

Once the order is complete, you will receive a dispatch email. Delivery will be made by our partner Logistics North East and will arrive on the 2nd working day following dispatch. On the morning of delivery, you’ll also get an email/ SMS with a 2-hour time slot. (Please allow an additional 2-5 working days for deliveries to Highlands and Islands).

The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery, so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk.

It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
