A gorgeous large platter to serve food on to family and friends. Made from marble and sustainable mango wood, these platters make a wonderful centrepiece whether that's on your dining table, or your coffee table for a more informal gathering. Use them as a cheese board, for tapas, charcuterie or even a high tea of cakes and sandwiches.
The marble platters are handmade in India. The marble is sourced in Rajasthan, and the mango handles are created from sustainable wood. The mango trees are actually grown for their fruit and harvested over a number of years. Once the trees have stopped bearing fruit they're cut down and used to make these wooden handles, among other products. This allows the farmers to earn more from their trees as well as providing them with an income to plant more trees.
As these pieces are natural and handmade there will be variation in the marble and wood.
