Wax Care Pack - Protect Your Hunter Collection Furniture
This wax care pack has been specifically put together for our Hunter collection furniture that's been finished with one of our wax finishes.
If you have a piece of furniture from our Hunter Collection that's finished in walnut, teak, medium oak, rustic pine or smoke pine finishes, this is the right pack for you.
If your piece of Hunter furniture is finished in Ebony, you need the Ebony Maintenance Pack instead.
And, if you don't have a piece of furniture from our Hunter collection, this is not the right wax care pack for your needs, and you need to head to the Care Pack main page.
Wood wax has a distinctive finish like no other, and it can highlight all of the natural, unique markings of the wood which is distinctive and aesthetically pleasing. Is also very easy to restore or repair, compared with other finishes such as lacquer and varnish, where the furniture must be sanded back to the bare timber and then re-applied with professional tools.
We understand that accidents happen, so these packs include everything you need to recover your shelf or furniture from bumps, knocks or scrapes that they may take in the home. You can even use them to just keep your items looking in top condition.
Each pack includes:
- 1 tin of wax - approx. 125ml
- 1 piece of fine sandpaper
- 1 wax application cloth
*Each Hunter wax care pack is put together in our workshop from the wax we use to make your piece of furniture or shelf. We recommend you use your wax care pack within 6 months of purchase.*
To apply a new coat of wax, and restore your furniture, simply wipe over the item, ensuring that it is free from dust, then use the applicator cloth to apply a small amount of wax whilst rubbing in the same direction as the grain of the wood. Cover the required area and leave to dry for 5-15mins. Then simply buff the surface to a new, shiny, beautiful finish. To help you, we also have fitting video guides available.
