The Hunter round dining stool is an industrial-style stool that's perfect for when space is at a premium. Its beautiful solid wood seat rests on a trio of black metal legs, an elegant take on the industrial look.
Pair it with our Hunter round dining table, or mix and match it with an existing dining set. The stool will neatly slide under the dining table when you've finished using it, creating floor space. Use the Hunter Round Dining Stool all the way around a table, or at one end, or even keep it in the corner to use when extra seating is required.
Like all our furniture it's handcrafted from beautiful solid wood in our workshop in the North of England. The Hunter collection celebrates the industrial shipbuilding heritage of our region. Its design blends elegant angles and curves with metalwork and industrial style.
As well as our choice of hand-waxed finishes, the Hunter round dining stool has an extra special finish too, that's only available on the Hunter pieces, for now. The Ebony finish is a dark stain that's hand-applied and finished with an oil to seal the wood and give a beautifully rich, deep and dark finish.

Each piece is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, creating a sleeker, contemporary finish to the solid wood, while still leaving plenty of natural wood features.
Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
Five Fine Wax Finishes & Unique Stain
The Hunter round dining stool is finished in a choice of wax or stain.
The wax is applied by hand, working to enhance the look of the grain and feature of the wood, bringing it to life. The choice of wax colours are:
- Walnut
- Teak
- Smoke Pine
- Medium Oak
- Rustic Pine
Unique to the pieces of furniture in the Hunter collection is our Ebony finish. It's a dark stain that's then finished with clear protective oil. Both are hand applied as part of the handcrafting process. The stain creates a beautiful rich dark colour on the wood, and the oil leaves it with a matte finish.
As with all natural wood furniture, we would strongly recommend that you protect our oak furniture from heat and moisture, with the use of coasters, heat protective mats and other precautionary measures.
When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

Quick Assembly Required
Your Hunter dining stool will arrive requiring its legs to be attached to the tabletop and stools. This is to make moving the stools easier, as well as protecting the legs in transit.
Assembly is really straightforward.
- We'd recommend doing this in the room where the stool is to be used.
- Lay the stool top on the floor, top down.
- Position the legs over the fixing points.
- Using the fixings provided fasten the screws into place, securing the top of the table to the legs.
- Turn the stool the right way up and position it in your home.
For the stools, follow the same process of screwing the legs to the top.

As these solid wood dining stools are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing.
Please note that our current lead times are 8-10 weeks. With the Christmas break, these lead times may be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience. They will then be dispatched and will usually be delivered within 1-2 working days to UK mainland. (More remote UK areas and Northern Ireland could see an extra 1-2 days for delivery). It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
