Sustainably Sourced Wood

Funky Chunky Furniture’s shelves, mantels, and furniture are crafted from responsibly sourced wood. We work with suppliers who prioritise sustainable forestry, ensuring forests are well-managed to support biodiversity, protect wildlife habitats, and promote long-term regeneration.

Solid Rustic Timber

To make these rustic solid wood TV units we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each piece is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.

In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our shelving apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood every piece will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Rustic timber. Please note that placing your item above or near to a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.

All sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another.

3 Fine Wax Finish Colours

To finish these chunky wooden TV units we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features it enhances their look and brings them to life. The colours are:

• Walnut
• Smoke Pine
• Medium Oak

When viewing on screen colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. You can order your samples here.

Strong Fixings & Easy Installation

These wall hung TV units come supplied with all the fixings you need. With this fitting method we would recommend fixing to solid wall types. Please note we are unable to guarantee the TV units if they are installed into alternative wall types or using alternative methods.

Turnaround & Delivery

As these solid wood TV units are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that the lead time provided is an approximate guide, and your furniture may be completed slightly earlier or later than this date. If this would cause any issues, please let us know.

They will then be dispatched and will usually be delivered within 1-2 working days provided that there are no courier delays. It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
