Why Choose a Wooden Coffee Table from Funky Chunky Furniture?
Handmade and Built to Last
Made to order in our North East workshop by skilled craftspeople, every piece of our wooden coffee tables is designed and crafted with care, unlike flat-pack alternatives. We use traditional joinery techniques and the finest quality timbers to ensure your coffee table provides lasting style and durability.
Crafted from Solid Wood, Never Veneer
Over time, veneer coffee tables begin to peel, chip and bubble, whilst our real wood coffee tables retain their natural and timeless charm. While veneer coffee table frames will become weaker in years, our solid wood coffee tables retain their strength for decades.
Sustainably Sourced Materials
Our wooden coffee tables are all crafted from sustainably sourced materials. The raw materials are sourced from suppliers who practise sustainable forest management, creating a healthy cycle of supply and regrowth. We’re constantly in the process of improving our sustainable practices across our manufacturing and packaging.
What Types of Wood Do We Use?
Solid Pine Coffee Tables
The majority of our natural wooden coffee tables are made from premium kiln-dried pine and finished in your choice of our wax finishes to perfectly match your style. Pine coffee tables provide long-term strength and timeless style making it one of our favourite materials for creating coffee tables.
Solid Oak Coffee Tables
A select range of our coffee tables are handcrafted from solid oak. This high-quality solid air-dried oak timber provides a premium look, with abundance of natural character and strength.
