Appearing to lean against your bedroom wall, the Heaton Ladder Bedside Table has an interesting style and bags of storage.
Handmade from solid wood, the Heaton bedside has a minimalist style with a simple design. It's a smaller bedside table that's perfect as it doesn't take up much space in your room but still gives you storage.
Keep your bedside clutter-free by using the drawer, and displaying a simple lamp on the top, while using the shelf for devices such as your phone or kindle.
Like all our furniture and shelves, the Heaton Ladder Style Bedside Table is handcrafted and made-to-order in our workshop in the North East of England.
Named after a suburb of Newcastle described as "hip" and "trendy" by Kirstie & Phil from Location, Location, Location the Heaton Bedside Table's minimalist style means it pairs perfectly with our Baltic and Gosforth bed designs.

Our wood comes from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of sustainability. Forests that are so well-managed that they help to fight deforestation and protect wildlife habitats for the species that call them home.
Solid Wood With A Rustic Finish
To make our Heaton ladder-style bedside tables we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each bedside table is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.
In this style, you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our furniture apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood, every bedside table will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind.
Please note: Placing your item near a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
Five Fine Wax Finishes
Our Heaton ladder-style bedside table is finished with a supreme wax polish. It's professionally applied, by hand. We choose to work with wax as it enhances the look of the grains and features in the wood, bringing it to life.
The choice of colours are:

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

No Assembly Required
The Heaton Ladder-Style Bedside Table comes fully assembled, simply unwrap it and place it in your home.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance With Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing damage. Order your wax care pack here.

As these solid wood bedside tables are handmade and made-to-order we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that our current lead times are 6-8 weeks. With the Christmas break, these lead times may be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience. It is important to open your delivery as soon as it is received so that this can be checked over, and so that the wood can breathe.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
