Like all our furniture and shelves, the Armstrong Dining Table is made to order in our workshop in the North East of England. Choose from a range of wax finishes and a choice of two types of black metal legs to make this piece your own and the perfect dining table for your home.

Funky Chunky Furniture’s shelves, mantels, and furniture are crafted from responsibly sourced wood. We work with suppliers who prioritise sustainable forestry, ensuring forests are well-managed to support biodiversity, protect wildlife habitats, and promote long-term regeneration.
Solid Rustic Timber
To make our Armstrong dining tables we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each table is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.
In this style you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, waney edges, bows and twists, along with machine marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our furniture apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood every dining table will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Please note that placing your item near to a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features.
4 Fine Wax Finish Colours
To finish our solid wood dining tables we use your choice of one of our supreme wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are:
- Walnut
- Teak
- Smoke Pine
- Medium Oak
When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. You can order your samples here.

Quick & Easy Assembly
To make moving the dining table easier, the table top and legs come as separate pieces. Assembling the table is very simple and only takes a short amount of time with all the fixings included. Here is how to do it:
- Turn the table top so it is bottom side up.
- Place the legs at either end using the guides to position them correctly.
- Using the fixings provided fasten the screws into place, securing the top to the legs.
Now you just need to decide where it's going in your dining area, and plan who to invite round for your first meal!

Future Maintenance with Wax Care Packs
We have wax care packs available to keep your furniture and shelves looking their best. They are a great to use every few months to make your piece look brand new all the time. They're also brilliant for fixing damage. Order your wax care pack here.
Turnaround & Delivery
As these solid wood dining tables are handmade to order we do require some time for manufacturing. This will normally take 2 working weeks.
Please note that the lead time provided is an approximate guide, and your furniture may be completed slightly earlier or later than this date. If this would cause any issues, please let us know.
Orders with multiple items will be dispatched according to the longest lead time. To receive your quicker lead time items without having to wait, just place separate orders.
Once the order is complete, you will receive a dispatch email. Delivery will be made by our partner APC and will arrive on the 2nd working day following dispatch. On the morning of delivery, you’ll also get an email/ SMS with a 2-hour time slot.
The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery, so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home. For queries about the pallet delivery service, please contact us at info@funky-chunky-furniture.co.uk.
