This cottage style dining bench has an authentic rustic charm.
Made from solid wood with a rustic country cottage design, the Amble wooden dining bench has angled legs and a cross beam design. It's the perfect dining bench for a farmhouse inspired or countryside dining room.
Dining benches are a great seating option. More people can fit around the dining table than with chairs, but also they're fantastic space savers. Simply slide under the table to create more floor space in your room.
The Amble Dining Bench has been designed to work in partnership with our Amble Dining Table. But is a standard height and could be paired with other dining tables, either from our collection, or your existing dining table at home.
At 140cm long, this long wooden dining bench provides plenty of seating space around a dining table. Alternatively, you could use it in a hallway, or boot room as extra seating and storage.
Many customers choose to have a dining bench on one side of their table, and chairs on the other. That way they have a choice of seating options.
Made to order in our UK workshop, available in a range of wax finish colours and delivered to you fully assembled.

Our wood comes from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of sustainability. Forests that are so well-managed that they help to fight deforestation and protect wildlife habitats for the species that call them home.
Solid Rustic Timber
To make these rustic solid wood dining benches we select top quality, unsorted, kiln-dried pine. Each dining bench is cut to size and finished in our signature rustic style. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval.
In this style, you can expect to find splits, cracks, knots, shakes, bows and twists, along with sanding marks in keeping with the rustic style. These are the qualities that set our furniture apart from the rest. And due to the nature of solid wood, every TV stand will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Placing your item close to a heat source can cause movement within the timber which may exaggerate these natural features, particularly twists and bows.
Please note that all sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another.

To finish these rustic solid wood Amble dining benches we use your choice of one of our wax polishes. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. And as the wax soaks into the different grains and features, it enhances their look and brings them to life. The available colours are:

When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples.

No Assembly Needed
The Amble Dining Benches are delivered fully assembled, on a roadside pallet delivery. We recommend that two strong people are available to move the solid wood benches into your home.
Care & Clean
Daily care of your Funky Chunky Furniture piece is really simple. Watch our 30second video to find out more.
Your furniture will come with felt protectors, please use these on the bottom of your new furniture to protect your flooring. You will need to make sure that any hard flooring (which includes wood, laminate and vinyl flooring) is completely dry and free from chemical residues before putting your new furniture into place.
As this is a natural wood product with a wax finish any applied force, and friction, can cause the wax to transfer onto surfaces.
If wax transfer does occur we may be able to recommend products to help remove or reduce the appearance of the transfer.
However, we cannot be held responsible for any such incidents, or the use of any products we may suggest. Get in touch with our customer services team for advice.
Future Maintenance With Wax Care Packs

As these solid wood benches are handmade we do require some time for manufacturing. Please note that our current lead times are 6-8 weeks. With the Christmas break, these lead times may be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date so please ensure to leave a contact number with your order.
